I

It all started in 10th grade. My friend invited me to help him make some black & white prints in our high school darkroom. Bathed in the glow of the red safe light, I watched in awe as the image magically appeared before me. That was it, I was hooked. By 11th grade I applied to just one college to start my career.

Completing four years at Rochester Institute of Technology, possessing a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in professional photography, I secured an assistant's position with Tony Petrucelli Studio in New York City. Tony was one of the best people photographers in the world and I was very fortunate to get this position. This would be the start of my graduate work, because although I was fully educated in the technical aspects of photography, it would take a real life situation of a busy top notch New York City studio to really teach me the ins and outs of this business. Exposure to top clients and huge productions as well as the operation of a studio was invaluable.
